Since 1992, Jerry Schemmel has been the radio play by play voice for the Denver Nuggets. His up-tempo, emphatic delivery has made Jerry a mainstay in the Nuggets organization. Providing honest, straight forward sports commentary has been a consistent trademark that has worked to make Jerry one of the most defining, and recognizable voices working in the NBA today.
In February of 2007, Jerry was hired as the television play by play announcer for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer Baseball League. On top of calling games for his alma-mater, Washburn University, Jerry also was the frequent play by play voice for the Colorado Sky Sox, the triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
